Our goal is to help enhance our immediate and surrounding communities in a positive and constructive way.  A good way of providing positivity in our community is to identify areas that need extra attention and then developing a way give those areas attention.  One of these areas that we have identified as needing attention is the labor and planning aspect of building, maintaining and running winter ice rinks, trails, or ski trails.  Many long and cold hours are required to make these amenities function well and a lot of organizations experience volunteer burnout or volunteer absence.  The service we provide alleviates the volunteer/member burden of long hours, labor and equipment usage for community recreational activities.  By taking away the heavy labor of running these amenities it allows community members and volunteers to concentrate on the bigger picture of operation and activity planning.  We believe volunteer and member time is better spent on participation and promotion of the winter installations rather than spending time clearing snow or fixing machinery.  It takes dedication, reliability and passion to make great ice rinks or trail installations, at Outdoor Ice we have what it takes to put out the best and most usable ice surfaces Edmonton has to offer.
